A spur of the moment trip during Dashain, a major religious holiday, Nepal was a wonderful weekend getaway. I only stayed near Thamel Street and a few temples, so the eagerness to visit again is strong, but Katmandu was chock full of vibrant sceneries and high energy. While the holiday brought a bit of a calm during the long weekend, the shots I got showcased the joy in both tourists and locals.
